Ponte Vecchio Bridge

 Ponte Vecchio Bridge

Church of Santa Crocce

In Florence is the Ponte Vecchio Bridge built in 1345 and is the only bridge in Florence that was not destroyed during World War II.  Also located in Florence is the Church of Santa Crocce; the burial place for Danti, Michelangelo, Machiavelli and Galileo. In the Uffize Courtyard stands a replica of The David as well as other marble works of art. There is also the Piazza Della Signoria (of the women).
