On Tuesday, April 5, we left Salt Lake City at 8:50 a.m. on Delta Flight 94 en route to New York City. We arrived at JFK airport at 3:35 p.m. Departed New York City at 7:05 p.m. on Delta Flight 246 for an overnight journey to Rome, Italy, arriving on Wednesday, April 6 15 10:00 a.m.
Our daughter Cydney was waiting for us at the airport to provide us transportation to her home in Naples (Napoli) which was at the Naval Support Site in Caserta, Italy, outside of Napoli. Our granddaughters had a scheduled soccer game in Naples which we attended and met Damon.
