Wednesday, February 18, 2009 Mom and I traveled to St. George to visit the '09 Parade of Homes, some of our former neighbors, and a trip to Zion's National Park. On Thursday, February 19, 2009 we visited some of the new homes in the Home Show and was impressed with some of the newer features in the homes. The interior decorators are going back to dark wood cabinets, doors, moldings, etc. Not sure that we like the new look. On Friday, February 20, 2009, we took our friends, Marge and Vaughn Jenkins, to Zion's National Park and had a very enjoyable time. The Great White Throne, shown here, is very beautiful with the winter snow on it. There was snow in a lot of the places along the road and trails leading up to the Narrows at the top of the canyon. Stopped and had dinner at Ted and Allen's Sports Grill in Hurricane. It was an enjoyable time for us to enjoy Southern Utah.Monday, February 23, 2009
