We had an enjoyable time over the weekend that Jackson was baptized in Jackson Lake at Crystal Ranch. All of the family were able to attend. What a lovely spot for a sacred ordinance to be performed

Brooke's Baptism at Crystal Ranch
The morning was beautiful, the cows 'mooing' in the fields, the children happy, breakfast was great. We cleaned up the lodge and left for "Crystal Ranch" for the baptism of Brooke. About 11:00 a.m., she had a cold dip in her pond that her dad created 2 years ago and named it "Brooke's Pond"- the water was about 55 degrees. The bishop of her ward in Salt Lake attended. Grandpa Don Ludlow and Jeff also came. Alison lead the music, Grandpa Hansen talked on the Holy Ghost. Grandpa Ludlow gave a short message.
We then went to "Jackson's Lake" for the ordination of Jackson to become a Deacon in the Aaronic Priesthood - this is another lake that was built this summer on the property to be used for the raising of fish for the Utah Fish & Game Department. It is also a very beautiful spot. We then ate lunch, the children fished, road the ATVs. A neighbor brought two horses to ride. Summer lead the horses around for the kids to ride. she then decided to ride one of the horses herself and the horse decided it wanted to go back to the trailer and go home. All at once Summer and the horse went into the trailer very fast. She was screaming - help me! ! ! It is good that she had the presence of mind to duck her head as the horse went into the trailer. Grandpa Hansen went into the trailer and help Summer get off the horse, turn the horse around and bring it back outside.
We left late in the afternoon to return home via Tabiona and over Wolf Creek pass, through Woodland and on into Salt Lake. A great fun-filled weekend

This morning we went to church in American Fork then went home and packed up and leave for Duchesne County to attend Brooke Ludlow's baptism tomorrow and Jackson to be ordained to the Aaronic Priesthood. Dave and Andrea rented Hidden Springs Lodge for the family to stay. we had a Bar B Q beef dinner with salads, fruit, veggies and desserts. The children enjoyed the swimming pool, hot tub, rowing a small boat on the pond out front. The scenery, the weather, the mountain air and playing games, "Ar Ted" being the most popular, and doing crafts till all hours of the morning.
